CEDAR POINT
Cedar Point is a 364-acre amusement park located on a Lake Erie peninsula in Sandusky, Ohio. Opened in 1870, it is the second-oldest operating amusement park in the United States behind Lake Compounce. GLACIAL GROOVES
A National Natural Landmark, the Glacial Grooves on the north side of Kelleys Island are the largest easily accessible such grooves in the world and are accessible daily in season, weather permitting.
MIDDLE BASS ISLAND
Middle Bass Island, Ohio, is a 750-acre island in Western Lake Erie. It is shaped like the Big Dipper and located at the heart of a group of 23 islands. Its more famous neighbors are South Bass Island, with the town of Put-in-Bay, Kelley's Island, and Pelee Island which is the only large Lake Erie island in Canada.

Marblehead Lighthouse rests on the Marblehead Peninsula, a rocky headland of Columbus Limestone that juts into Lake Erie.
JOHNSON'S ISLAND CIVIL WAR POW CAMP
Military Prison on Johnson’s Island. The creation and administration of the Depot of Prisoners Of War, Johnson’s Island, Sandusky Bay, Ohio, is perhaps the most historically interesting part of the island’s colorful history. During the 40 months of its existence, approximately 10,000 men were processed into the stockade on Johnson’s Island.
WOLCOTT HOUSE AKA THE KEEPERS HOUSE
Historic 1822 Benajah Wolcott House in Marblehead, Ottawa County, Ohio. Known as the "Keeper's House", the structure is the oldest surviving home in Ottawa County. It was the home of the first three lighthouse keepers for Marblehead Lighthouse. A permanent quarters was built adjacent to the lighthouse in 1880.
PERRY'S VICTORY & INTERNATIONAL PEACE MEMORIALS
Perry's Victory and International Peace Memorial was established to honor those who fought in the Battle of Lake Erie, during the War of 1812, and to celebrate the long-lasting peace among Great Britain, Canada and the U.S. The Memorial, a Doric column, rising 352 feet over Lake Erie is situated 5 miles from the longest undefended border in the world.
SANDUSKY MARITIME MUSEUM
Come dive into the Maritime Museum of Sandusky, where you'll have a boatload of fun discovering the rich maritime history of the Sandusky Bay area. Travel back in time to the old days of passenger boats, commercial fishing, and ice harvesting on Lake Erie! Learn about boat-building, Ohio's wetlands, shipwrecks, and Sandusky's role in the Underground Railroad.
LIBERTY AVIATION MUSEUM
The Liberty Aviation Museum was established on December 7th 1991 with a handful of dedicated volunteers to showcase WW2 aircraft. In 1994 we had the opportunity to put on a well received air show at the Erie-Ottawa Regional Airport in Port Clinton, Ohio. This very fortunate turn of events led us to formally announce in 1996 our intent to locate our museum at the Erie-Ottawa Regional Airport.
